Is it too early in the year to keep talking about Miami neighborhoods? Maybe. But I’ve got to keep this going. And to the Brickell lovers out there—please don’t take this personally. I respect your opinion, I promise.
Today, let’s talk about Brickell. I wish I were as excited to write about it as I was when sharing my love for South Beach or Edgewater. Silvana, why is that?
We’ll get to that later. First, let me highlight what makes Brickell a favorite for so many.
Brickell: Miami’s Financial District
Brickell is the beating heart of Miami’s financial scene. It’s home to major corporate headquarters like JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, and Santander, as well as luxury developments like Dolce & Gabbana Residences, Mandarin Oriental Brickell Key, Baccarat Residences, and St. Regis Brickell, which are currently under development—and many others you can check here for a full list of new Luxury projects.
But Brickell isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The neighborhood continues to grow, with new projects constantly boosting its value and appeal. One of the biggest headlines? Oak Row Equities is currently under contract to close a record-breaking $520 million deal for a 4.25-acre waterfront assemblage. If this deal goes through, it will mark the highest price ever paid for land in Miami.
Life in Brickell: BUSY, Beautiful, and a Bit Overwhelming
Life in Brickell is BUSY. For someone like me, the energy can feel overwhelming. The hustle, the constant movement, and—let’s not forget—the infamous traffic—can all be a bit much.
But let’s be fair: we can’t deny Brickell’s growth potential. It’s a hotspot for networking, offers incredible dining options, and yes, the views can be unforgettable. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, urban environment, Brickell might just be just right for you.
If you want to make life here less stressful, embrace walking. Everything you need is within walking distance anyway, and walking is good for both your body and mind. (And let’s face it—living in Miami means you want to look and feel your best.)
Is Brickell Right for You?
Brickell isn’t for everyone, but for those who value urban convenience, luxurious living, and networking, it’s a standout option. For investors, the continuous demand for high-end properties and the neighborhood’s steady growth make it a strategic choice in Miami’s real estate market.
While Brickell doesn’t quite suit my personal preferences, I fully recognize its unique appeal. Whether you’re looking to immerse yourself in the city’s financial pulse or seeking high-value investment opportunities, Brickell delivers on both fronts.
